Turn Around

Thursday’s Inspiration๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
Topic: Turn Around๐Ÿ“‰๐Ÿ“ˆ
If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. Jeremiah 18:8 KJV

We often deceive ourselves into believing we can continue in sin, and when we are ready, we will commit to Jesus, and then the Lord will forgive us. We often have a fairytale vision of how our life will work out. It is, just that, a fairytale. We do not know the day or the hour ๐Ÿ• when the Lord will come.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting (Galatians 6:7-8 KJV).

Does Jesus have to get in line ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿปto be with you?
Is he at the end ๐Ÿ”š of the line?
Is Jesus the first in line?
Does Jesus have full authority and determines the line๐Ÿ’ฏ?

Take a moment and reflect on your day. Visualize ๐Ÿ”Ž your day as if you were watching yourself in a movie. Visualize the Lord, Holy and Sovereign ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป.

Do you have Jesus waiting outside your door๐Ÿšช as if he is a solicitor, or is he in your bedroom as soon as you wake? Does he get the first fruit ๐Ÿ“ of your day, or does he have to wait for his time slot?
Is the Most High God, Creator of the Universe, The giver of life, waiting for a time slot on your calendar๐Ÿ˜ณ?

Is your alarm ⏰ set to seek Jesus, or is it set to begin your day?

Jesus is real๐Ÿ’ฏ, and he ensures every night when we sleep, we have enough oxygen to sustain us while we rest. He watches over us, to ensure we are protected through the night.
When we wake, do we acknowledge his presence? Do we at least say Good Morning Jesus, Thank you for keeping me through the night?

Jesus is real๐Ÿ’ฏ.

Everyday he is here watching over us, wondering when we are going to acknowledge his presence. It is disrespectful to have our King ๐Ÿ‘‘ waiting for time slot on our calendar.

Day after day๐Ÿ“†, month after month, year after year, decade after decade, Jesus watches us attempt to operate independent of him. When we do, it grieves his Holy Spirit.

Eventually Jesus will say no more. Eventually our time will run out⏳. God always sends a warning.

Can you imagine Jesus's schedule? Jesus arrives at our houses day after day, year after year, with our gifts ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ in his hands, waiting for us to open them. Some of us continue to ignore Jesus, some of us open only 1 or 2 of the gifts he has given us. Jesus goes everywhere we go, preventing accidents, guarding, shielding, and protecting us throughout our days.

After all he does, some of us look Jesus in the eye, and tell him to sit in the corner until we are ready.

God is not mocked. He will not wait forever. There is an expiration date. If we continue to do our will, we will reap the results. Jesus has sounded the alarm๐Ÿ“ข.

There is good news ๐Ÿ“ฐ!
If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. Jeremiah 18:8 KJV.

Evil is working our agenda and not the Lord’s, even if our agenda is good. If our agenda is self-satisfying and self-gratifying we have made ourselves a god. Evil is placing our will before the Lord.

Take Jesus out of time out. Put him in VIP๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป. Acknowledge him in all you do, and he will direct your path, and you will experience the promised abundant life! He is our King ๐Ÿ‘‘ and he desires a relationship with us. He only wants the best for us. Trust him and you will never be the same.

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves you!

How Long Will You Wait?

Thursday Awakening

Topic How long will you wait?

Josh 18:2-3, Judg 18:5-10

How long are you going to wait to obtain what God has for you? God has given us an inheritance and it is ours for the taking, but Jesus is asking how long will we wait? How long will we dream or fantasize about our inheritance? How long will we sit in envy of the next person that has pursed what God had for them? How long will we complain about our circumstances? How long will we hope it will drop from heaven or appear in a lottery? It is waiting for us but are we slack in obtaining it.

Josh 18:2-3

Joshua had given out all the land to the children of Israel and there were seven tribes that had not received their inheritance. Joshua said to the seven tribes “How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the Lord God of your fathers have given you” Are we slack today in pursuing what Jesus has given us? Slack means slow or sluggish. Slack also means showing laziness or negligence in obtaining what God has given us.

When we are negligent, we fail to properly use our talents and our gifts to obtain what Jesus has given us. If God has given us wood and the idea of a chair, the chair is not going to drop from heaven but he has given us the vision and the raw materials to make the chair.

If Jesus has given us a talent and an idea, the idea will only become reality when we decide to use what Jesus has given us to create the vision he has placed in us. He will give us the people, the resources, and ability but we have to make a decision to take the idea out of our head in into reality. First ask the Lord where to go and what to do. Then go and do it!

Judg 18:5-10 And they said to him, “Inquire of God, please, that we may know whether the journey on which we are setting out will succeed.” And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The journey on which you go is under the eye of the Lord.” They said, “Arise, and let us go up against them, for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very good. And will you do nothing? Do not be slow to go, to enter in and possess the land.

We have to go and enter and posses what God has given us. Will we do nothing? Will we be slack? Do not be negligent with the talents and gifts God has given you. Do not compare your talents with others. Your talent is special and unique and Jesus has given you a vision, please do not discount it. If God has given you a song but you cannot sing write the song and he will lead you to the person that will sing it. If God has given you a vision but you don’t have the gifts to execute the vision, write the vision and seek the Lord and he will lead you to the people to help you create the vision.

Do not become slack or slow in executing what God has given you. Write the vision and make it plain (Hab 2:2)! Go and subdue. Go and possess! Remember to be strong and of good courage when you are going to pursue what Jesus has given you. Do not fear, do not be afraid for the Lord is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you (Deut 31:6).

God bless you! Jesus loves you so much. He wants you to receive all that he has promised you.

Prayer of Salvation

Prayer of Salvation

The prayer is implied in Romans 10:9-10.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Pray

Almighty God, possessor of the heaven and earth. I am a sinner, I repent and ask forgiveness for my sins. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to your Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for saving me through grace. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit to help me live a life of righteousness.
